Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, is this little comfy guest house, welcoming you with a lush green courtyard and wonderful host coco. However most of the interesting sight seeing points are near to this area. For 400thb per night, you get air conditioned double bed with private bath, toilet, coffee in the morning, hot water etc. There's provision for paid laundry and ironing. It stinks around this area, especially during rains, but once inside your room that's not going to be a problem with air condition. If I'm visiting Bangkok again, I'm booking here again.

Staff were friendly and the room was alright (the curtained bathroom was kind of weird though). They provide 2 bottles of water and instant coffee, and have a water cooler and small kitchen setup on the second floor balcony. The area is convenient for food and is about 20 min walk to the BTS, but the guesthouse is a bit tricky to find the first time you go there. There are also a lot of cats wandering around there, so be aware of that if you have allergies.

The room here was small but pretty clean. There was a little kitchen with microwave and oven on our level, so you can cook your own food. There also are nice places to sit both in and outdoors, although only the rooms are fitted with ACs so it can be a little hot.

This is my 2nd visit to Thailand. Although not like the hotel I stayed in 2001, this is a cool place to stay while in Bangkok. Quite small though but the staff are so accommodating. Although location wise, it is so inaccessible, there is no parking area at all! YOu might park your vehicle about 40 meters from the place. Overall, a good place to spend a night or two.

First: Rooms are not for people who like luxury. But very suitable for backpackers.
Rooms are small but clean, with separate toilets. Close to BTS Ratchathewi and Phaya Thai.
Friendly host, quiet room.
Personally, if I go back to Bangkok, I will still choose Eco House.
There is no parking for motorbikes in the hotel, but you can leave them at the entrance to the hotel.

Quiet place, small rooms but with good air conditioner and a shower.
There is a post office nearby for those of you who shopped alot ????
Also there are buses around the area that can get you almost anywhere (might need to take another bus or a train)
The down side is the smell from the sewers on the way inside.
