Nice ambience, food not bad but a pity let down by terrible service thus the 1 star rating because it really spoilt the mood of my lunch group.

The café is part of a hostel in the old part of Bangkok near the Democracy Monument that was featured in a Thai architectural u0026 interior YouTube channel. Didn't managed to see the rooms but the cafe u0026 courtyard garden are nice.

Food u0026 coffee was not bad BUT it took 1 hour before the food was served! The café wasn't full and we were the only guests that ordered food. We didn't order many food, just 3 rice dishes u0026 2 deep fried items.

The lady manager (I assumed) could have at least warned us before we ordered that the kitchen would take longer to cook our food instead she came out with a pathetic comment "not long to wait" (After an hour???) when we asked why our food is not out yet. ????u200d♂️ It was as if the cook went out to buy the ingredients or was late for work!

Thai people are friendly but their customer recovery is sorely lacking despite tourism being one of the country's main industry for so long.

Expensive seeing as it’s attached to a hostel! Service was incredibly slow and really let down the atmosphere and ambience of the place. We weren’t told about happy hour and the signs were all faced away from the counter, when I asked as I went up for my second drink one was turned round and I was told it ended in 10 minutes- seemed purposefully deceiving. Shame, because it’s a cool location with a good mix of people.

Traveller-friendly place. The garden is beautiful and with a chillax vibe that is surprisingly hard to come by in busy BKK. The staffs are energetic. Good foods and beverage at a reasonable price.

I think this is one of the best bar/ hostel around the old town of Bangkok. Great vibe, good music. Period

Great breakfast!
Zero service and rather unpleasant staff. Maybe spoiled by the backpacker hostel that's part of it.

Wonderful Cafe and Restaurant with normal prices in a beautiful setting right in the old part of Bangkok. Friendly staff and a very instagramable ambiance. If you're visiting wat saket and want to stop for food or a drink, this is the place with just a few minutes of walk, away from the temple.
