A must visit place in Bangkok full of history, ornate architecture, and art. The stunning detail found throughout the complex is mind boggling. Take your time and meander your way through the property-you won’t be disappointed. Every corner provides rich new attractions for the eye.

Foreigners take note - you cannot wear shorts, you will not be allowed to enter. There are vendors around the entrance that will see you a pair so don’t distress, just have 200 baht handy (per pair).

This is easily one of the most magnificent places we have ever visited. Everything was built with so much detail and thoughtfulness. It is incredible how the closer you got to a building or structure, the more details it had. If you are visiting Bangkok, you absolutely need to dedicate a whole day just for this. It is that beautiful.

A really beautiful place and palace - the museum is also very worthwhile. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to take photos there. What you should not forget is to dress appropriately. Shorts are not allowed here. However, there are a few stalls where you can quickly put something on. What you should also know is that the entrance fee of 500 baht is very high compared to other temples and sites. But apart from that, there is a lot to explore. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Guidebooks are even available free of charge in German.

The architecture is spectacular and complex. The Grand Palace was established in 1782… and after all these years… you’re surrounded in history and grandeur. Beautiful buildings, artwork and statues. It’s a definite must see when visiting BKK. It took us 3hours to view the grounds. Try and go early as the heat of the day can take it’s toll. The ticket also included a Thai show about the historical provinces.

This place was very impressive! 500 baht for entry, and remember to take clothes to cover up with. We spent around two-three hours here, it was the most impressive temple we saw while in Bangkok, and one of the best we have seen in Thailand! Would definitely recommend a visit, it was a great day out and incredible to see!

Amazing!!! The entire place is breathtaking which explains why it is a must-see spot in Bangkok.

Visiting temples require you to wear decent clothes so no tattered jeans, no short pants, no tight pants and all. Or else, you'll have to buy a wraparound that costs 150 baht! (too pricey!!!)

Amazing. If you’re in Bangkok, you must visit this once. As a Thai national, you don’t have to wait long to enter but for foreigners, I suggest buying tickets through their website as it’s way easier than waiting in line. I cannot get over how stunning the place is. Definitely take your time and spend the day here, also there’s so many restaurants and cafe and good photo spots nearby!
