Okay so we stayed here after staying in a different hostel in Bangkok and compared to our first one we were so much happier here! Had a lovely warm welcome when we arrived. Found out while staying here that they had only recently opened and honestly they had and were doing an amazing job already! The couple that run it were so so helpful I would definitely recommend if you are alone or even a couple as they give you so much information about the area and don’t make you feel like a nuisance for asking! They offered to take us out of food and for day trips etc so friendly. Location was AMAZING we felt close to Kosan road but still away enough to get a good sleep and not be woken up by drunks. As it is only them two running it there was a few minor things I noticed about the hostel that definitely didn’t ruin our amazing experience but I would just like to note.
1- toilets didn’t get kept up together with as good as they could have. Mirror had spit on and hardly ever had toilet roll. Understandably it’s just them two so hard to do everything!
2- my bed had a gap in between the curtains and the wall so It didn’t feel very private.
Honestly neither made our trip to sleepyhead any less amazing! Thank you for having us ❤️

Great hostel with wonderful owners. Everything is nice, new and clean. Perfect for short and long stay in Bangkok. Location is perfect as it take only 4 min to Khao San road on foot.

Our stay was even more unforgettable, thanks to the fantastic dinners with the owners. Every food and place recommended by them was great and authentic. Definitely worth recommendations not only because of the place but also thanks to the helpful couple that run Sleepyhead. I hope to visit them again in the near future.

A young couple runs a guest house.
They were very humorous and it was more fun to talk to them than Kaosan :D
And there was a situation where I had to get up late and meet my father outside and I was embarrassed because my cell phone didn't work properly. Thank you for letting me connect to my father's usim card number with the female host's cell phone????????
And It's a trip with my father so I booked a triple room for two days. The room was clean. there were no insects at all
Public bathrooms also clean too. Toilet slippers were placed for comfortable use of the bathroom.
(There's body wash and shampoo and toothpaste)
The male host likes Korean dramas and movies. He can even speak Korean.
The hostel was a little distant from Khao San load so it could stay quiet.
(But, The accommodation was located in the alley, so there was a little motorcycle noise at night, but it wasn't a big issue for us.)
I saw a lot of people who wrote in the review that the bed was uncomfortable because it was hard
I have a waist disc and I hurt my foot before coming to Bangkok, so this hard mattress is rather a perfect mattress for me.

Thank you for making good memories for me and my father. If I go to Bangkok again next time, I want to eat dinner together.

This place feels like staying in a cosy home.

We, a group of three, stayed in a room and it was just the right size for us. They provide internet, coffee, refrigerator and toiletries.

Popular tourist destinations are in walking distance from the hostel so it is convenient if you want to come back and get a brief rest. The street around it feels like a tiny comfy village.

Finally, the best part is that the hosts are really warm and caring. They recommended some places for food, which were great. Good wishes to the hostel, I would love to come back here!

It was hard to say goodbye to the Sleepyhead hostel after my two week's great stay there. Even though I was in Bangkok for the first time, Ploy u0026 Golf made me feel like I am at home as they are super kind and helpful. They grabbed us with other guests to the streets to take part in Loi Kratchong festival and also took us for dinner and dessert at a local restaurant. Golf gave me tons of recommendations on what to see around which made my stay much easier. Breakfast is tasty and you can choose from several options to eat. The place is very clean and calm, located right next to Khao San road surrounded by many points of interests. I just can't recommend this place enough. Thanks for having me!

If there was only one thing I would say that was “bad” is I wish we could have stayed longer at Sleepyhead Hostel. We were only there for 2 nights, so we spent most of our time outside but the humble couple running this homey, extremely clean and cosy establishment makes me want to come back because from the moment we came to the time we left, they were extremely friendly, Super cool, provided great suggestions and help! They’re polite and professional and although we didn’t get to spend any together with the locals, you can just tell they’re awesome people! Definitely 5 star place!

The room was okay, the owners were okay not until we were asked to pay 300 Baht for the "stained" towels and sheets. First of all, that was never explained to us when we arrived. Second, part of the stains were from a long time ago that we had a hard time removing those. We almost did not make to our trip to Chang Mai because we had to spend time washing the towels and sheets or else we'll have to pay for it. For the breakfast, since we had to leave early for our tour, we were given 1 boiled egg and 1 banana. The following day, no breakfast at all. AC is only allowed from 5pm-11am. It was too hot in our home and we can't rest because of the temperature.
