Solid Thai dishes with an English menu! I’ve lived in Thailand for 6 years: solid food, nothing fancy. Also the prices are superrr cheap. Decent view of the water and nice Bangkok atmosphere

This has turned out to be my favourite place for a late afternoon beer which is the cheapest anywhere. The ambiance drinking by the canal is hard to beat even if the water is far from appealing. This has a largely local clientele which adds to its appeal.

My favourite food in the area, it's nice to sit by the water even if it's not hugely appealing, it's peaceful. Super friendly staff with English menu and very cheap food that is super tasty, amazing green and red curry soups! Went multiple times because its so good. Two meals and two drinks was 140 baht.

No thrills but excellent tasting authentic Thai food at a very reasonable price. Green curry fried rice was delicious and sitting by the river adds a nice touch. Friendly atmosphere, we got chatting to another traveler and happily spent a few hours chilling here

Riverside restaurant with Thai and farang food. Good service, very good food and very competitive prices Hut very basic. No frills here!!

So why have I only given it 3 stars?

Most of the seating is overlooking the river. The floor surface is uneven and there are no river barriers. One loss of balance on the uneven surface could find someone in the river. Totally unsafe for children.
These issues need sorting out especially as the restaurant has many good points.

I ate here every single day when I went to Bangkok. The gals who work here are SO nice and speak excellent English. They could make the food spicy or not spicy, and the views were breathtaking!!! They serve breakfast every day until 10am and it was so yummy. I wish I could eat here every day for the rest of my life. Everything was between 20-100 baht. I miss these ladies already!!! Thank you for a wonderful Thai food experience!!
