Visited in 11 June 2022. The museum is housed in a big campus and plenty of food u0026 drink options were available. We witness a music band performance.

Museum Siam was established in 2008 to be a model for a modern learning centre. By presenting the story of Thais from past to present through the combination of media and a variety of technologies which is considered to help enhance the education of Thai people. Especially the visitors who are in their childhood and youth will have the opportunity to learn Thai History creatively. The Museum consists of 3 parts including a permanent exhibition, rotating exhibition and creative learning activities.

What is "Thai-ness" or to be Thai? This fun interactive museum explores that question and shares many experiences that create modern Thailand. Set in a large historical building, you can wander in and out of galleries on multiple floors. Most every gallery has interactive components from comparing Thai foods mounted in bowls on the wall, to sitting at school desks while a video teacher at the front of the classroom teaches Thai writing. A number of the exhibits were popular culture based from animated characters to street fashion. Entry fee and audio tour earphone collection is on the ground floor, exhibits are on floors 2 and 3. After your tour, wander the grounds around the museum, there is a nice cafe tucked in the back corner that serves coffee and drinks, is a great place to sit under the trees, and also contains some interesting artifacts and photos.

Small enough to enjoy without getting tired of walking, although the stairs can be quite a hassle. Nice collections, very light but still providing nice intro to Thai modern culture. The temporary exhibit about the lottery in Thailand is quite interesting with a complete information dated back in king Rama all the way to the recent history and how it impact society.

Terrific!!! And aimed at the young minds that like to explore push buttons and see the world in a different way. A modern museum that was designed to engage the senses. Also, being very conveniently right on top of MRT station Sanam Chai does help a great deal, entrance fees of 100THB per adult / person will get you in. The exhibit starts on the 3rd floor. Working its way down to the second and eventually the 1st (ground) floor. A must for families that have kids that like to touch, pull poke and explore!

I really enjoyed my visit to this museum, the main exhibit is an exploration of 'Thainess' via food, culture, history, dress etc. The audio guide is free and takes you around each room of interactive exhibits that highlights a different factor in making Thailand Thailand. I would highly recommend, even if you aren't a fan of museums generally, as it is far from the traditional, looking at dusty items collected long ago, type of museum.

The Museum Siam (Siam Museum) is close to the BTS Sanam Chai station. It's wonderful to swing by and discover Thai historical stories. Many language audios are available for rental. The Arabic numerals are a little bit tiny to indicate  where you are. The remainder is well worth the journey.

A fascinating museum and recently renovated. A beautiful building with some clever and thoughtful displays and exhibition spaces.

Staff members were helpful with pretty good English and an excellent shop with quality products.

Highlights focused on Thai food, fashion, the origins and evolution of the Thai language and script, and repeated explanations of “Thainess”. If you’re in the area looking at Wat Phra Khaew (Grand Palace) and Wat Pho, then do take the time to wander the halls of this museum.
