Somboon Seafood, central world. This place has a great atmosphere with partitions making dinner feel more intimate than other Somboon branches. The food was good but not amazing (7/10) as to be expected from Somboon. Service was really good (8/10). Prices were reasonable for the food quality, location and ambiance 8/10.

The first mall based outlet for the Somboon franchise. The quality remains the same with added convenience. The curry crab dish and clay pot glass noodle remains the favorites as they are most flavorful.

4.5 stars.

Came back for the curry crab (this is the small portion;540 baht) which tastes good! However there was a lot of oil which caused it to be “jelat” (can’t take too much...)

Kailan with stir fried pork is okay but not memorable.

Like the green chilli dip, try it!

Ordered the classic dishes. Think they were decent. You can have the fried curry crab without shell, making eating so much easier and enjoyable. The fish was fried to perfection and matched well with the chili and garlic.

Best description of Somboon I can muster, will be that of a fancy Thai Chinese Restaurant. Having a reservation is highly recommended, for we had to wait approximately 30 minutes without one.

A very fine setup with great service and final bill to match. Star dish here is the crab, so make it a point to order this prepared to your liking.

Delicious and cheap. Highly recommended for crab lovers. The shark fin soup is goooooood too

The food quality is not bad, taste average. Perhaps only the curry crab tastes good. However, the customer service could be better. Hot tea is not refillable. Ended up not knowing, we were charged twice. Ambience is quiet.
