Nicely done, new geological museum within the Department of Geology. The museum is open every day from Monday to Thursday, but you will have to inform the department that you want to visit it. As a consequence there are no fixed opening hours. They will provide a guided tour if needed.

Directions were piss poor, even by Thai standards. No indications on entry or opening hours.
It's closed for half of the week.
Follow one of the commenter's advice and contact the department before trying to visit.
It is definitely closed on Sunday.
What a shame.
