Lots of development for this area recently.

This used to be the penultimate station for the Silom line but less than a year, a few more stations have been added including the all important Chinatown stop (2nd stop after this).

A popular stop for locals/tourists going to Ruamkatanyu Foundation Hua Lamphong branch and for locals going to Chulalongkorn Uni.

And also, in less than a year, a spanking new mall, Sam Yan MRT Town just sprout out. Its quite a good sized mall featuring KFC and related eateries and Uniglo etc..all targetting at the Uni students as can be seen from the poster ad all over the vicinity.

I did not have time to explore the mall but intend to do so next trip after I made my donations.
