I stayed a few nights at the Soontree in the past. This is an apartment/hotel, top floors are occupied by the long-term renters, last time the unit above me was so noisy until early morning hours, the front desk person was unable to help. Also the air con unit in the room was so weak, it took like 6 hour to cool down the room and it was not really cool, just okay temp.

Not impressed.

Stayed here tor 2 nights.

Opposite a large lot that has had a lot of demolition carried out theron and now overgrown and rubble strewn.

No toilet paper supplied and not available when requested.

A large wardrobe but no shelving or drawers. The space inside the cupboard door above the wardrobe was full of rubbish!

NOT a 28 square metre room, ONLY 23 square metres including a small outside balcony. I chose this accommodation for the larger advertised room and was disappointed. Noisy air conditioner with the outside (up high on balcony and just above the bathroom vented window) unit kicking in every 5 to 10 minutes and amplified through the bathroom and the glass door out to the balcony.

A rooster crows next door before dawn and the only saving grace is that it must have been throttled once as it cannot reach the high notes!

A short walk to the main road with frequent songthaew and the Udon City Bus services and Café Amazon across the main road and Beyond Café al'so nearby.

More than 500 metres to convenience store and Thai food outlets and other businesses including a 7-Eleven, a Mini Big C and a Tesco a bit further away.

No English spoken and receptionist was sullen and unhelpful.

A nice hotel. Clean. Nice stuff. 500 B. You don't have to book in advance. Free parking.

Nice new hotel. Friendly staff and very good for the price. Would stay again.
