Although I had but an in u0026 out one night stay u0026 didn’t use any of the hotel’s facilities, I will comment on my room u0026 front desk staff. I booked a ‘superior double’ room u0026 frankly was pleasantly surprised u0026 pleased. It’s perhaps unfair u0026 maybe reflects an arrogance, but having stayed at numerous Thai up-country hotels, my expectations aren’t high for hotels at non-resort, secondary Thailand destinations. IMHO this superior room at De Princess Hotel was outstanding value for price—spacious, carefully maintained, clean u0026 tidy housekeeping, high quality bedding, u0026 fully functional with everything in good working order. The front desk staff on check-in/out were professional, very courteous, highly flexible u0026 efficient—IMHO they reflect a training standard that’s often lacking even at Thailand’s best, esteemed 5* properties. On my next visit to Udon Thani I’ll definitely stay at De Princess Hotel again, u0026 I’ll be curious if other operational areas like Fu0026B, are up to the same high standard I’d experienced on this overnight stay. Bravo!
