Royal Phuket City Hotel

Situated in Phuket Town, it was easy to get around. Stayed for 4 nights during our trip to Phuket, hands down really great hotel. We got a bigger room since we stayed for awhile and we loved the vibes. Spacious bathroom as well. Staff were all very nice and attended to us when our safe malfunctioned, hairdryer stopped working. Pleasant disposition, we asked then questions about local tours and food.

Facilities were well maintained in our room, and they had decent room service food - given they had a restaurant and bakery within the hotel as well.

However, wifi does get cut off a lot and I had to sign in every 15 minutes. Perhaps it was just where the room was situated. We had 2 plug outlets that were not working, but there were other outlets around the room, it wasn't too inconvenient.
Do note that this hotel does not provide toothbrush, toothpaste and shaver for men. Otherwise, all amenities needed were there. Housekeeping did a great job during our time there as well.

Would definitely be back in future when we visit Phuket again. :-)

So this hotel is old and antique not modern but the level of cleanness and staffs' professionalism makes your stay relaxing and worry free. I actually loved the hotel more after the staffs' service and attitude. Location is a plus ????

Luxurious, 5 star almost in European standards. Staff is very friendly and compensated us well because the pool didn’t work. Breakfast buffe is a bit better than standard.

5 star hotel in a quiet neighborhood, far enough to be quiet, but near enough to Chinatown (10 mins walk). I got a corner room on the 12th floor, the views of the sea and islands were impeccable. While the hotel is old, it's facilities were well maintained and in working condition.

I must say its beds and pillows are VERY comfortable and the aircon, just perfect! Hot water in the toilet was also present in the toilet, for both shower and tap, where the pressure is good.

For gym go-ers, the hotel's gym is the biggest I have seen with all kinds of equipment! Royal Phuket city hotel also boasts a spa, that is very relaxing and has a resort-like service.

The hotel is also located right next to Bus Terminal 2, which takes you to many places, including the airport (orange bus via domestic terminal).

Royal phuket city hotel is a very accessible and great place to stay if you want comfort, proximity to tourist areas, and some peace from the city.

Really enjoyed my stay and was walkable to old phuket town. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and had lots of variety. My room was clean and staff was very friendly
