If you like bustle street, go to Patong beach, not so many tourist here, the shops closed early, not so special. It's the same as Melaka (Malaysia) and can't compare with Hoi An Old Town (Vietnam). No street food here as well.

A lovely street full of life! — it’s living heritage of southern Thailand. These shop houses are occupied by real people who are still doing real businesses (not a living museum where everything is deliberately frozen just for tourists). You can find food, groceries, souvenirs, clothes, stationeries, electronics, snacks, cafes and just about everything — in an eclectically sophisticated hybrid architectural style of buildings!

Very busy street on Sunday, if you like crowded area with many activities and all kind of street food then you must visit this place

It was not busy during Covid. Highly recommend to try the steamed rice topped with boiled chicken.

Besides a few nice shops/restaurants and a beautiful shrine it is nothing for me. Annoying taxi drivers chasing you every few meters. It is loud and bad air are awaiting you as of the intense traffic. And the best are the fake parking attendants trying to full you and scratch your car if you don't want to pay... Nope you want see me again. Although this is not just about the Old Town Street but just for the whole area around it.
