We stayed here for 1 night, maybe the only guests staying, I guess as its low season. However the room was excellent, very clean, spacious and conveniently opposite a 7 eleven and some food stalls. Only a short walk to the beach and not too far walk to Kata beach. They serve food downstairs with TV for sports, the lady at reception was very friendly!

EVERYTHING you need for the perfect stay is right outside your door.

FOOD
The in-house restaurant has an array of cuisine that caters for many cultures. The meals are large and very reasonably priced. Directly across the road is a variety of street food. There’s also a 24/7 Seven Eleven who also have several choices that can be heated in the shop. Plenty of fruit shops who make smoothies.

MOTORCYCLE HIRE - 50 meters away with undoubtedly the best prices.

BANKS - Handy Tip
There are four different banks who all have ATM’s and if you take your debit/credit card and passport into the Blue Bangkok Bank, you can withdraw as much cash as you’ll need with no fee.

OCEAN
Karon Beach is only a 5 minute walk from your hotel room.

HOTEL ROOM
Cleaned every day with fresh hand and bath towels. Shampoo, soap and conditioner. Two bottles of water accompanied with coffee,sugar and milk satchels. Bar fridge. Powerful WiFi, Cable TV, strong air conditioning and fan. Double glass sliding doors to keep the ambient sound at a minimum. Black out curtains. Very comfortable bed. Closet. Security safe. Balcony.

STAFF
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Ask them anything you’d like to know and I’m sure they’ll have the answers and they’ll go above and beyond to make sure your requests are met.

EXTRAS - if you like football/soccer then you’ve come to the right place. Upcoming games are displayed on the events board. Big screen tv in the outside restaurant area. Great atmosphere.

Mellow Space is a great find as it’s just right for singles, couples, groups and families.

I’ve stayed here a few times and am always overwhelmed with the simple and detailed way in how the owners conduct their business.

Mellow space is close to the beach (5min walk) and is a best value for money in Karon.
Staff are very friendly, room cleaned daily and hygiene is on a high level.

Wifi is extremely fast and reliable and they offer good deal for long term stay so I can recommend it for remote work.

We stayed at Mellow Space for 4 weeks in December 2018 and have booked again to go back in January 2020 for 3 weeks. Don't waste money staying in expensive chain hotels, this hotel is family run with friendly staff who can't do enough to make sure your stay is perfect. It has spotless spacious rooms with a fridge and kettle, beds are really comfortable. A 7/11 store is opposite hotel. Daily Bottles of water are complimentary. We eat many times in the hotel restaurant downstairs, food and service were excellent. Couldn't ask for a better location, 5 mins from beach. The owner Dave is very helpful, and always willing to help you organise your day if needed, giving local tips and ordering tours or taxis for you. Looking forward to returning in January 2020!

Very Satisfied with my stay at Mellow Space, the room was very clean with good air con plus cleaning service.
The restaurant was excellent serving a large range of Thai and western food (English Chef for the western food) with good friendly service. Dave the owner with very helpful with information about the local area plus day trips to try out of the area with acceptable prices.
Overall enjoyed my time and would recommend to single and family travelers seeking accommodation.

My family of 3 stayed here for 4 nights on our first visit to Phuket.
Its about 1000 baht from the airport to this hotel.
Dave the owner was welcoming and informative, and has taxi drivers available for you to book at fixed prices. And his staff were always friendly, and polite.
Our room was number 5, and had a comfy double bed and an extra bed for our child.
There is no lift, but the staff helped us up the stairs with our luggage.
There was a nice sunny balcony which overlooked other residences.
The room had great a/c plus a fan which was a godsend. The shower was warm but didn't have much pressure.
Our room was freshened up and re-stocked with clean towels and water everyday.
We ate in the restaurant a few times, and loved their western-style choices; bacon, eggs, sausages, and burgers. Also great shakes and cocktails.
Outside, there is a busy road to cross, but once you get used to the speed of the vehicles it gets easier.
To the left there is a handy general store with a guy who knows some english, to the right and down a little lane is a lovely girl, who will wash, dry, and neatly pack your laundry for 50 baht per kilo.
Across the road is a 7-11 and money exchanger, as well as food vendors.
The beach is a 5-10 minute walk across the street, and past many restaurants and shops which open around 10. During our stay, the seas were quite rough and swimming wasn't allowed.
If I had to nit-pick, my only cons would be: 1/That the balcony isn't that private/secure; its accessible by ladder from below ( possibly a fire escape) and next door's balcony.(low wall between)
2/ There is no hot water for the vanity basin or power outlet in bathroom, which made shaving difficult.
3/ The restaurant staff are great.....but they need to give us time to order; not stand near us as soon as we sit down.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Mellow Space, its clean, affordable and comfy, and I would have given it 4 and a half stars if possible.

Excellent place to stay in Karon Phuket. Hotel great value for beautiful rooms, all newly decorated, very spacious with great ensuite. Mountain view room particularly would recommend. Beach just a short walk. Nothing too much trouble for staff for what our family needed, very helpful. Owner Dave helped us hire a car and there is a shop close by for excursions we wanted to book which we were shown. Restaurant serves lovely food, great selection for all meals served all times of day. 7/11 shop as well as bank just over the road which was really handy. Will be staying here again on next visit to Phuket.
