Ibis Styles Phuket City is a very good budget hotel in Phuket Town. I'm glad that I decided to try out this hotel which is a bit hidden behind Novotel. The rooms are just as comfortable as in Novotel but without the view and 2-3 times cheaper. I highly recommend staying here if you are on a budget.

As Accor Plus Diamond member I got room upgrade to family suite, drinking voucher for the Novotel bar, free breakfast in Novotel, welcome fruit and welcome letter. All this for around 700 bath per night (Accor Plus red hot rooms price). This is great value.

The family suite is very comfortable, a queen bed, a bunk bed, several windows with a view of Courtyard Phuket and a banana farm. There is a desk and chair, comfortable enough for working. Everything very clean and tidy.

I would love to give five stars but there were some minor issues:
- The aircon vent was covered by dust when I check-in. I asked them to clean , which they did. But the dust had feel down on the floor when I came back to the room. After I asked cleaning to clean the room, the dust was still there. So I had to ask them to come again and clean the dust up.
- Some cleaning ladies did not wear a mask, which poses a risk to themselves and the guests, since we're at the height of a covid wave right now.
- Some staff and almost all guests did not wear masks inside the lobby, I understand that it is now voluntary in Thailand, but I still think it would be good to wear a mask now due to the high rate of covid infections.

However, those are just minor issues and I will for sure come back again soon to IBIS Styles Phuket town as long as they have such competitive rates.

Ibis Styles is the budget chain from Accor. This hotel seems comparably new. It's very clean, all is working. It's a good solution for a budget sleep with not spending much time in the room. Of course one can't expect 30 square meters for the price. A family of 3 should definitely go for the family room which has a nice bunk bed and even a room dividing sliding door. The breakfast is basic, but some fresh fruit to start the day may just be enough for some. The reception was very helpful with our heavy luggage. The hotel is about 15 min by foot from the main street in old Town.

I liked the rooms and they were very comfortable. No HDMI input on the TV for me to use. Lots of places to get food within walking distance. I think this is a good place to "live" for a few days, not so much to vacation at. There are other more touristy places.

I was rather disappoint the restaurant can provide take away brunch or breakfast box with somehow high energy dish. It’s a business trip and my appointment start so early, then I can’t wait until 6:30 am for normal breakfast. It’d have been grateful if we can have take away brunch/breakfast box instead of sit in.

I loved everything about it! More spacious than I expected, absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The staff were excellent in helping me with every little need. I would stay here again in a heartbeat !

Good value, clean and friendly. Note that due to two years of covid, 85% of bars and restaurants and clubs in the area are temporarily or permanently closed. So little reason to stay here. Will improve hopefully.

good location in Phuket old town , easy to find sth to eat. room is nice as accor standard.
