I can rate this hotel as a good 3 star hotel . I stayed in the deluxe room which is huge ! I loved the size of the room and bed. It was clean. Having said that the old area is in urgent need of updating everything looks really old ! Even the sheet of paper they leave In the room for guests. Very old but good value for what I paid anyway .

Now the down size is that no one single person speak a word of English so it was nearly impossible to Comunícate , i had to get phrases translated in google translator.

My visit to Pailyn was special because I stayed there more than 30 years ago... So I went there deliberately to relive old memories. It's an old lady clinging to it's grandeur. So it's a bit dated, but the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. I had a balcony overlooking the city on the eleventh floor, with AC, TV and a private bathroom. The staff is amazingly friendly and the location can't be beat. It's close to the river, where there are restaurants and shops. Thank you Pailyn, for still being there!

We will be staying here again for certain. The room was large and had a balcony. We thought the room was excellent. We arrived early from our flight and the staff was more than accommodating. From the moment we walked through the doors we were greeted with a warm welcome.

We were staying overnight and it was a good hotel for a cheap stopover. The hotel for the most part is kept fairly clean. Nice location only a few minutes in a tuk tuk from the railway station. Good value for money if you can find discounts for this hotel.

Water is brown in multiple rooms from time to time. Rooms are okay but accessible from outside to all levels. Elevators are small and slow. Would not recommend.

Cheap but it’s a 1 Star hotel. It looks like it hasn’t been updated in decades. Plus: AC, 2 free drinks per night and free breakfast; negative: beds hard, pillows hard, not sure if it’s clean, don’t recommend the restaurant, bring your own shampoo, water turned brown.

We stayed here as we had been recommended the train as a means of getting up to the ruins of Sukhothai from Bangkok and the nearest town on the train line is Phitsanulok. Minute tuk tuk ride or 10 minute walk from train station. Probably the best choice in Phitsanulok.
