It should be called the "Grand Never Again" !
Close of the train station, that was for me the reason of that choice, Ever 9 is a little block of flat. Rooms with and without a balcony are exactly the same. A balcony facing the car park has no utility but rooms with balcony are more expensive !
Rooms are big, but the decoration is cold. There’s a sink and a microwave, but not the indispensable kettle. The desk is trying to leave the wall where it’s attached, and the little table is not stable.
Aircon is close of the head (of the bed) and it's uncomfortable. The compressor is right behind the wall and is noisy. It’s impossible to turn off the light of the balcony and the light is annoying.
So far, it’s a “normal not very good hotel”.
But there’re 2 major problems :
-Internet is not working. When you arrive in the room, an employee comes immediately to try to get a connection. For your computer, you’ll have to pass through Explorer (that is now off date), and for the smartphone, you must try to find a signal… All for an incredibly slow internet that disconnects all the time.
Well, it’s not even internet we got 30 years ago.
- The breakfast is served in a small room very cold -from aircon- and extremely noisy by the TV. There’s no choice of food, a few industrial sausages, ditto for the bread, fried eggs, rice, a plate of cooked cabbage, and a tiny plate of melon.
The fake coffee is infect.
Absolutely insufficient and ridiculous for 100 baht over the room price.
Ever 9 is not a place where to stay more than one night if you didn’t reserve in a real hotel.
Again : when you check the review on a place, on Google or any site, look at the bad reviews, that will tell what is no good. Good ones are often fake. Don’t accept Google choices that offer you “the most relevant”. Google doesn’t know what you like and tries to make you to buy what will provide the company money through partners.
