Really nice location. 3 blocks from the beach and plenty of restaurants and bars close there. This area during night is usually crowded.
Comfortable beds and average rooms. Just need to improve the cleaning and fix the air-conditioning so it didn't cold so much and it was needed a fan.
Friendly staff.

Great position in the centre of Ao Nang with all facilities nearby and the beach only a few minutes walk away. The room is good compared to the price. The staff is friendly and even helped me wash my bagpack which had got stained by some juice. Cheap and for the price it was so cute I'm surprised it wasn't more expensive.

The lady who showed us to our room is friendly and helpful with our queries. The price is so cheap I'm surprised it wasn't more expensive. In a good location but off the main road so not too much noise. A great place to meet and make new friends at the adjoining bar.

REAL BUDGET HOTEL,

Very cheap price compare to others, so the service was reasonable to me. ( Dont take their first room, though its the cheapest nothing works there)

Pros:
Near the beach
Friendly Staffs
Have a excellent bar just with it
Have wifi
Hot Shower

Cons:
No privacy, as the lobby in front of rooms is directly connected with the road.
Very suffocating, as surrounded by other buildings like a wall.

The best place I stayed at in aonang hands down. The rooms are clean and neat and very popular with backpackers. As of this time there is construction of more rooms being completed over the road to the main guesthouse. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I love this place and people.

It's only a very small bar but it is owned by a lovely Thai lady called Yaya who is so nice and chatty and gets everyone involved. The air-conditioner broke down in the heat and was acted upon and fixed immediately by the helpful staff. Great place to stay if you're on tight budget.

It's the cheapest and best value you can find at such a distance from the beach at Ao Nang. I saw ***y un-occupied rooms closer to the street (which means we can avoid jumping over the water to get into the room), but they refused to let me change. I definitely recommend Popeye's Guesthouse to fellow budget travelers, and would definitely return.
