Clean but outdated hotel. Very loud music all night, we were unable to sleep and had to cut our stay short. You have access to the pool and gym from next hotel but would not recommend. Staff were super friendly though and said the music is a common frustrations for guests.

Room is ok. Outdated but clean as others have said. The huge negative for me is that my room faces the street next door where bars play very loud music and the room is not sound proof at all. And my ear plugs are not blocking the noise at all. Wont be staying an extra night because of this.

This hotel is great. The people who work here are very nice and polite. The room in which we stayed was good. And the breakfast was also really good, there is variety of options. It is near the Ao Nang beach ( 5 minutes walking) and near center at the same time, you have everything you need around this hotel. There is also swimming pool nearby that you can use. When we come back to this lovely part of the world we would stay at this hotel again.

Definite yes for stays. Neat and clean. All friendly staff. No hassles. The hotel has a nice continental type breakfast. It's location is about 400 metres from the sea shore. Everything is walkable as it is on the main road. Got a pool too if you would like. The lunch and dinner are not exactly menu. Also note that the food eating spot is not sealed by windows. It's a stay worth the money.

Staff are awesome- especially Wan on reception. Made to feel very welcome, room was huge and has a great location. Using the neighbouring hotel's pool was also a plus as the sea isn't that clear. Get the breakfast! Best selection we saw in a month and the crepes were awesome.

We spent 4 nights at The Verandah Hotel and it is an absolutely gorgeous hotel with balconies, the most comfortable bed I've slept on in Thailand, and only minutes from the beach. The only downside was our shower was a bit temperamental, we had to visit another hotel to use their pool which was too busy during our stay (but at least we were close to the beach!), and our room was on the smaller side but the balcony from our room had incredible views of both the limestone hills and sea. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a huge selection of breads, pastries, spreads, cereal, and cooked foods along with made to order omelettes or crepes. I would highly recommend the Verandah Hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Ao Nang area. Thank you so much for having us! (Stayed in Jan 2019).

Really well located, surrounded by many shops, typical restaurants and massage houses. 30min walks to the night market ( really nice walk if you like shopping) but you have also a local market to eat at night, not far from the hotel, and it's delicious!
The hotel in itself it's beautiful but the best are beds, breakfast and the lovely girls from the staff who always are nice and smile at you. Thank you girls for everything!
