Holiday Inn Express Krabi Ao Nang Beach, an IHG Hotel

Decent hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. They have coin operated washing machines, but no send away service. The hotel is across the street from a very nice long stretch of beach. They have a trampoline and swimming pool for kids. The hotel is in a really good area. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but they have a great free breakfast. It isn’t as good as the full size holiday inn down the street. When we passed there they had live music in their lounge. When we asked for wine glasses to take to our room they had none available. When we were switching hotels they were able to hold our bags for us at the front desk after check out.

Hotel location is perfect as tourists can easily find some cafes and restaurants near by. Hotel restaurant serves only breakfast, which was ordinary, although staff were well-trained and cooperative. Apart from this, room was cleaned and well furnished, most of rooms had very great views. Another missing thing was room service policy, in which guest has to come down to reception to get requested delivery. Moreover, about service of hotel, hotel porters service was not there for handling your language to room from reception.
Overall experience was under average.

We ended up staying here because the Holiday Inn Resort u0026 Spa was fully booked and this was right next to it and we love this location.

Upon check-in We were upgraded to the pool view suite because we are IHG members.
We really enjoyed our 7 night stay here more then we expected. The entire staff were very helpful, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are decent size, well designed and very clean. They have a really nice pool. 24 HR Gym with room key access. 24 HR Laundry room and pedal bikes for rent.

Breakfast was also surprisingly good with plenty of fresh cut fruit and eggs to order, cereals, rice, noodles, teas, coffees, juices and more.

I'd definitely stay here again.

Location is perfect. Straight across the street from a beach. Laundry is perfect, just 100 baht to do a load. It was perfect for our long vacation. The croissants for breakfast were phenomenal! As was the pineapple juice. The pool was pretty and the service was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.

Sheets and towels were dirty initially but moved rooms and new room was much better. Recommend requesting a pool view as I think the alternative was a swamp view which was not very nice. Small-ish room but close enough to Ao Nang Beach. Breakfast was halal and very good!

Very recomendable!
The hotel is clean, spacious, and a 2 minute walk to a very nice beach.
We booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 4 nights. It is located minutes from the night market and very close to all the tourist offices.
The rooms are decent size with a nice balcony. We had our balcony facing away from the pool. It was quiet except for the occasional child.
The breakfast is decent and is there until 10:30 which is good if you wake up early and want to have something later.
The gym is a little dated, the machines make a lot of noise, a new elliptical would be good. But it gets the job done.
The pool is nice, there are lounge chairs all around. Best to go in the morning when there is no one around.
The beach is perfect, it is not Ao Naung, but it looks exactly the same. Only 10minutes walk to the other beach if you really want to go.
The staff is normal, not too friendly, but also not rude so that’s good.
We would definitely recommend staying there is you are going to Krabi.

For the budget conscious this hotel is perfect match of luxury at affordable price, nice clean rooms and comfy bed. The hotel is right on beach and closer to many joints by the road.If budget is not a concern then stay at Holiday in resort next door, it's much better equipped and has a good breakfast spread.
