Doogie's pizza and bar

I rarely put 1*, but this time I have to put it to lower the rate. I trusted the 4,6* from Google maps reviews and it's far from that. Pizza were the thinnest pizza we've ever eaten. You could even call it a salty crêpe. Pizza lacked amount of ingredients. It tasted well, it's just it does not worth 220 bahts for such a small and thin pizza. Service was slow, we were the only customers and they took 30 minutes to serve. They were very friendly and nice.

Decent wood fired pizza and friendly staff.
We wanted to get takeaway but they realised quite a time after they didn’t have boxes (you get charged 20 baht for a box as well) they told us it will be another 15min to get a box. Thankfully they let us take the boards with us if we returned them as for us the music/dj was way too loud and we couldn’t really have a conversation over the top of it. Although it did seem to chill out a bit by the time we’d come back with our boards.
It kind of seemed like that whole strip though was blaring music with hardly any customers, sad to see as it must have been hit pretty hard with covid. The “party atmosphere” though wasn’t really matching the vibe of the small ammount of tourists in the area. Anyway that’s a bit of a rant and not Doogies fault of course!
The pizzas themselves were delicious and we got our 20 baht on return of the boards :)

Loved my time spent at doggies, a must when I'm back. They have an easy way around their customers that makes you feel just fine. Thanks Thailand.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, drinks are okay, good pizza, and prices are reasonable (200 THB/pizza). Didn’t get mushrooms on my rustic pizza but it was still very good. Pizzas are personal size and cooked in a stone oven. They are crispy and thin, artisan quality!

I got to Thailand and fell asleep first thing, only to wake up at Midnight starving... I went into this place because they were playing a song I liked, and singing it live. The pizza I had was great! Maybe it had something to do with the free j that got handed to me by two traveling girls after I walked in. I'm sure it helped. This being such a good find, when I was sure everything was going to be closed, makes it one of the best places I ate near Krabi. ????

P.s. everything else besides one other place had closed already, and it had more of a bar than restaurant feel to it. So glad this place was open, and I didn't have to starve until the morning.
