We stayed at Grandmom Place for three nights and were really happy with our time there. The location could not be better. Its on the main road, near to a pier, restaurants and laundry facilities. Easy walking distance to anything you could want to do in Krabi. The family that runs the hotel is wonderful. The parents speak little english but they are beaming smiles at you every time you pass by. The son speaks wonderful english, and was happy to answer all of our questions about getting around in Krabi. The only downside was the fact that they dont clean the room. We had to ask for more toilet paper each day, and they didnt empty the trash bins or anything. The beds could have been a little softer for my taste also. But overall we were really happy with our stay. Great for the price!

Paid 700baht during the low season for a perfectly clean and quiet room. The room was fully furnished with TV, strong wifi, desk, dresser, and clothing closet. There was also hot water and air conditioning. The location is great and very central to all the day, morning, and night markets. Definitely a wonderful place to stay!

For the sheer value of having private bed and bath, this is hard to beat. Clean, spacious and secure, this is also nice and quiet. Think of this as an Airbnb, to manage your expectations.
The host, Phoom, is very polite and easy to reach via WhatsApp.
Pro tip: this is located right off a main street, so there is significant traffic noise. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to rethink - but I was so tired at the end of the day I just knocked out without any issue

Lovely host and very central place to stay in Krabi Town. Only a short walk from the night market. Our room however had the most creaky and uncomfortable of beds. Furthermore, the pipes were blocked and consequently the room smelled.

Great place in Krabi town. Near everything by walk : Market, mart, shops, restaurants but in a quiet part of the town.
Nice room, clean, well equipped with AC, a fridge and TV.
The manager is reachable via airbnb message and reply really quickly.
