It is local hotel with old style and comfort. 2 kindness owners (grandpa n grandma) will help n take care all customers. Pls visit and talk with them. This hotel price is cheap that can chose fan room or air-conditioning room.

Definitely nothing grand about it anymore.
500baht/per night AC is a good bargain.
It's good for short visits and nothing too much to brag about the place other than it being very well placed to a food market and many cafes and stores only a few minutes walk away.
There is a 7 11 five minutes walk.
Room was slightly bigger but quite outdated interiors.
Helpful people at the reception and assisted well with queries.

***LOCK UP YOUR VALUABLES*** We stayed in Krabi Grand Hotel for 4 nights. We had a good time until our final day when the receptionist asked if we wanted to have our room cleaned by one of the hotels maids. We were then going for breakfast not expecting it to be cleaned until later so we still had our valuables, money, etc, in my girlfriends handbag and phones in the room on the bed. When we returned from breakfast 20mins later we were rather surprised that the room had been cleaned so quickly and the maid gone. The phones and handbag were still there so didn't really think much about it. We flew to Singapore the next day, when we got there we went to the money changer it was then we realised $400 had been taken from the handbag. We called the hotel to explain what happened but they were very unhelpful and didn't want to know about it and then hung up. We know we should have locked our valuables up but it happened all so quickly. So our advice if you stay here make sure you look after your money and valuables. We would have given the hotel ☆☆☆ 3 stars if not for our experience.

Grand Hotel, Krabi is a great budget hotel to spend a night or two in.

Decor is aged and is in desperate need of an update, however the rooms are clean and tidy.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

If one is on a budget this is an ideal spot, a room with fan cost 400 Baht, an AC room will set you back 600 Baht.

Friendly staff, really really good location. However, very outdated rooms. No water heater for showers. Decent price (can spend a small amount more in same area for updates rooms).

Clean and quite place with perfect and friendly staff. Best value for money in this place. Room is comfortable with fresh air. I would stay here next time for sure.
