Nice and cheap place to stay in ao Nang. Very satisfied with the clean and pretty rooms. But their service is not great. We tried several times to contact the hotel about our arrival time. But we got no answer at all. When we arrived we asked if we could check in earlier and they said it wasn't possible. So we sat in front of the hotel and waited for several hours to check in. And somehow we never saw anyone else check out. Also we got a big room with great view the first night but then they said it was a "bonus" thing so they moved us to a smaller room with windows facing their construction site. Really weird.

But apart from that unfortunate episode we actually had a nice stay. Delicious breakfast and close to a lot of restaurants.

7/10 hotel. Need renovation and elevator. Plus is huge rooms and friendly staff, help with any inquiries. You can get free beach towels, water everyday. Breakfast is selective main dish and side (fruits, sweets and bread), I would give 6/10. Staff is great and friendly 10/10. Room was clean, but AC is bit leaking. No balcony for regular room, but there is window where you can see fire ladder and balcony (weird!). Location is great, in center. Max 10min walk to all objects.

My wife and I stayed here while traveling Thailand, and I'm very satisfied with what we got.
After reading the reviews I can confirm some of the things.
Yes, there is no elevator and you have to wind up a labyrinth of stairs to get to your room. The front of the hotel is not marked, so using your gps on the phone is a help.

What I'm impressed with:
The beds are new and comfortable, and the pillows are great. The rooms appear new, and for the very low price of $20 US we paid, they are one of the best deals on our trip.
You are literally a 4 or 5 minute walk from the beach, but what's even better is you are right around the corner from the evening night food market, which has the most delicious, affordable, and varied foods you could ever ask for! I spent like an hour eating and drinking everything in sight!

If you're looking for a great place to sleep that's conveniently located, save yourself some $ and stay here, if you don't mind exercising your legs a bit.

On the plus side:
Very comfy bed and silky and massive bed sheets; the furniture is nice and the little details like flowers in the bathroom make it lovely; our window was to the ground - so much light and sunshine!
The girl who met us at reception was super nice and friendly!
They give you special blue towels to take to the beach - this is great.
Free bottled water and unlimited tea and coffee in the rooms.
It's close to a larger street with plenty of foods and restaurants and a market, and only a 15 minute walk from the beach.

On the minus side:
The AC was incredibly noise and inconsistent. The shower door didn't close, so there was water there all the time. There is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep. Breakfast is limited and is not buffet style: you get unlimited toast and juice and drinks, but proper foods (read: virtually nothing but eggs) are portioned per person. Additionally, the hotel claim that breakfast is not included in the rate, but is a free compliment from them (?!), though we booked and paid for breakfast specifically...

The room is clean and spacious. This my 2nd time staying at this hotel. They had expend the hotel compare to my last visit 3 years ago. There are some construction nearby, so it might be noise during daytime. There is no lift in this premises so try to request the front desk for the room on 1st floor if you travel with children or senior citizen. Overall we have pleasant stay during our trip to Krabi.

The location of this hotel was convenient and safe. The room was comfortable as for any corporate hotel. It's a good walk from the town centre -best rent a motorbike. Staff at golden moon were attentive and helpful. I dont understand why officials allow this in such a touristic area.

Very valuable for the price we paid—it served a good breakfast, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Location was quite convenient too, since it is located close enough to the beach to walk there but far enough such that the restaurants around are not too expensive.
