Booked the night kayaking experience. Although there weren't many (just the 5 of us) doing this activity, Lam and Dam made it worthwhile. Really loved the experience. Great cheerful guides who cared so much about our safety. A must try in Krabi! ♥️

Had an absolutely amazing time with Freebird! They went out of their way to make us comfortable and the night tour was amazing! Thank you to the entire crew for being so awesome. 100% recommend if you come to Krabi

We had wonderful experience and did see the fairytale planktons in the cave❤️ Thogh I had seasickness on my way back (I had never had this before), N’บีน (not sure how to spell his name correctly)was very helpful and I needed his help to get back to the beach????…and yes he took a very good care of us????????

Overall pleasant experience BUT I recommend only going if the weather conditions are right (no rain, new moon as opposed to full moon, during peak season).

The team was super friendly and helpful in teaching us how to paddle and eager to show us the plankton, however due to the weather conditions, we could only see little plankton.

Which is fine, I don't blame them, we took the risk knowingly and we still had a good time. However the experience is not cheap and if the weather conditions are not right, I recommend you save your money and save your kayaking experience in Krabi for somewhere else with more impressive views.

If I am nearby and that the conditions are right, I wouldn't mind doing it again. Starts at 6PM and finishes at 8PM. We booked the day itself with walk-in

INCREDIBLE ! The bioluminescence was not very high but this is not their fault, they can not control nature but the guide was very nice and the light under the kayak allow us to see all the corals, magnificent ! The sunset was the most beautiful I have ever seen, it was amazing

I think it’s a unique experience that’s worth doing, despite being overpriced. Where else in the world can you paddle board in the darkness to find bioluminescent plankton (which looks like tiny flecks of glitter when disturbed, not bright blue as I had imagined)?!

You could hire a board from the guy on the beach for 900 baht but it’s probably not very safe to paddle out on your own in the dark. Lam’s boards are fitted with blue neon lights underneath which light up the sea, creating a nice mood for the journey.

Lam is very friendly. His jokes are playful and create a nice atmosphere while paddling.

As mentioned in other reviews, small fish around finger size jump onto the board throughout which is funny, especially when there are some sensitive people in the group.

I would recommend to friends with some holiday cash to splash, but probably hold onto your pennies if you have to decide between this and a boat tour of the islands. For that, I highly recommend you check out Krabi VIP Tours.

What can I say more ... Wow !!! What a fun experience I had today with Freebird in Railay Thailand! I rented a board of "Stand Up Paddle (SUP)" at the price of 300THB an hour to explore the area. Firstly their inflatable SUPs are of very high quality and the staff is there to help you find the right board best suited to your size / weight / experience. Before leaving I was asked for my experience and comfort level to help me choose. If you are experienced, we let you go explore alone. Since it was only my second experience in SUP, I received some tips to help me but I think it is also possible to take lessons on the spot. For my part I went on an adventure with my spouse. On one side you could explore the bay and beach of Ao Phra Nang with its limestone rocks, caves and crystal clear water. I also recommend you bring your mask and snorkel with you on the board to explore the seabed at the same time. The water is not very deep and so blue that we can see all the corals and fish below our board. There is even a place in the middle of the water between 2 rocks where it is possible to swim and to be standing in the bottom of the water. If you go to the other side (right) you can go to the beach of Tonsai, a small charming village. On the board, it is possible to stand but also to kneel or sit for rowing. The water was so beautiful, so hot and the scenery so enchanting that it was a really great experience. In short, an activity that I recommend to everyone, beginners or experienced!
