Emerald Krabi Beach Resort

This is March 2022 and apparently the Resort Bungalows are closed because of lack of customers. Covid of course affected this hotel property (which looks like it has been renamed Emerald Krabi Beach Resort). I spent an afternoon relaxing on the beach, drinking Cafe Americanos from the restaurant. It is beautiful and quiet and near the Ao Nang beaches but it is a far more pleasant beach. There is a diesel generator running to supply the electricity but I don't think that is much of a problem and quite a few boats power by headed for the Hat Nappharat Beach to the east. I find it quite idyllic.

If the Resort was open, I would suggest this would definitely be a pleasant place to stay and even if they're apparently closed, I would suggest you contact the facility by email and see if they take a guests or not. I had a problem understanding exactly the situation.

Best vacation! Loved the location (get your own private beach) - quiet, not crowded - thanks to the awesome staff.

We stayed here for almost three weeks. The bungalow was clean, the only thing I was missing for such a long stay was a wardrobe. The staff were extremely helpful and just the right combination of friendly and polite. The food was simply amazing! We enjoyed the location at the beach, you can relax in a hammock or on the beach chairs. Motorbikes are available for rent so when we wanted to go downtown, it was not a problem. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a beach to themselves, to relax and go on day trips.

Skip the city scene and stay here! We are more than happy with our experience at Sand Beach Bungalows. Stayed for 4 nights and had the beach all to ourselves, plus a couple of the sweetest puppies. The food was so delicious and made with love. Bungalows are clean and very minimal, but who needs more? Rented scooters from the owner to take to town for crazy days and returned by sunset to relax by ourselves. Truly heaven.

The service from the staff was great. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and really friendly. The room amenities are just fabulous. Rooms are clean. Must go to for food It's a great place to get away from everything everyone and Internet and do a bit of luxury camping.

We are sure the thoughtfulness of the design will be appreciated by ***y today's travellers like us. Extremely friendly staff. The room itself was hotel standard clean. Easy acces to Ao Nang with motorbike or taxi. Very very very good food. Beach beautiful and empty. We really enjoy our stay there.

A really nice and quiet location! The beach is there almost as if for your own. You can’t hear anything at night but crickets and sea waves. The restaurant serves great thai food and the owners are lovely. If you like purism and clean rooms, you should stay here!
