Echo fine Dining & Bar - Aonang.

The echo is a nice dining place. We had a few drinks here and enjoyed a few quick bites here. The staff is nice and courteous. They have good live music playing here which keeps up the momentum of the place. The best part is its location. Its right on the street but the staff and services give you feel of classy dining. Must try: Krabipolitan

Great position with fabulous views from the upstairs restaurant, which is large enough to cater for many people. There is also a bar downstairs for people just wanting a quiet drink.
The menu is varied with something for every taste. Moderate prices

Poor drinks, bad prices and not great food.

We went for a quick snack and a drink - to check out the place before dinner and were so disappointed that we didn't have dinner here.

Everything was overpriced. Drinks were 50-100 Bhat more than anywhere else and the nachos we had were 320 Bhat, the equivalent of £8. This wouldn't be good value for money in London, let alone a non-main city in Thailand!

The staff didn't seem to be enjoying themselves either.

The only reason to go here would be the sea view - which isn't great especially when you get sat at the back of an empty seating area.

The upstairs venue is okay, the cocktails were okay but the food ranged from “okay” down to “hardly edible”. To their credit, the staff offered to remove the bad items from our bill, which is why I can give it a 3/5 in total.

Food and service was ok.

The only thing which I’m not sure is the freshness of the food! 2 of 4 got sick during the upcoming night after we went there!

Was it really fresh? We don’t know…

We went right after sunset and were greeted out front for a quick explanation of the menu prices. They had a 10% discount on everything but seafood. We got to choose a table upstairs and ordered about 5 dishes. Everything was delicious and the presentation of each dish was carefully crafted. The singer/guitarist was playing acoustic versions of pop music from all decades and was really good. When we left they helped us hail a bus back to town, super nice and helpful staff.

Thai food here is very tasty, especially rice noodles. Very nice and friendly staff.
