The room was simple but clean had all the comforts we needed; hot water, fridge and AC at a reasonable cost. The owner was fantastic. We needed to change money and weren’t able to pay on arrival, I was going to quickly run to the money exchange place as soon as we arrived but the owner insisted that we didn’t need to worry. We ended up paying the following morning no worries. Even left our bags there while we figured out our next moves. Would really recommend this place.

We are at our 25 day journey through entire Thailand. We already had slept in various Bungalows, guest houses and hotels, but this is the tidiest and cleanest place we had stayed in jet. No spiders, no lizards, no dust and dirt. Clean sheets and towels. AC. Cosmetics in bathroom. Spacious room and good location. Best value you can get for that money. Futhermore the owners are the best people on this planet :) never had meet such a kind and friendly people like them. Thank you u003c3

DO NOT STAY HERE!
Booking this hotel was my biggest regret while in Thailand. I’m not sure how it has so many good reviews.

- The owner of the hotel unlocked my room door and barged in without knocking while I had no clothes on in bed. I was very shaken up, and his excuse was that he thought I was not in the room.
- There were dirty stains on the bedsheets and the towels. The housekeeper was supposed to change the bedsheets during my stay, but she simply flipped the bedsheets around - I saw the same stains, but on the other end of the bed. When I asked about this, the owner gave a very insincere apology.
- The housekeeper was very rude and would give me the dirty eye when she saw me.
- The bathroom has an odd smell and the sink drain does not drain by itself. You have to stick your hand in the dirty water to drain the sink.
- Mattress is rock hard. Don’t expect a good sleep.
- The building is located on a dark street with no street lights. It’s scary to go out at night.
- The balcony door does not lock. Very weird.
- The owner takes a 300 BHT key deposit which I have never experienced at any other hotel while in Thailand.

I had a terrible experience here and would not recommend it to anyone. You can find much nicer places for the same price in Krabi Town.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Extremely unprofessional conduct going on here. Money stolen, reckless behaviour, and careless management. They like to snoop through your stuff while you’re out of your room. Not a safe place to stay while in Thailand.

TRUST ME. AVOID THIS PLACE.

We are very happy with pur stay at Baan Samrarn. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Very good location and base for further travels. The owners are great - kind and helpful. They will always help you in any matter. Recommend!

Big room. Clean. Friendly and accommodating staff. We had to check out at 3:30am to get to tge airport and they readily obliged without complaint. I'm only knocking off a star cause the bathroom door was pretty busted, but it wasn't a problem for us. Wish I could only dock a 1/4 star. Walking distance to the night market.

Place definitely seemed newly constructed. Actually smelled like a hotel (no weird odors like you get in a lot of older hotels in Thailand). Great location, short walk to river and to outdoor markets. Also the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
