Looking for a place to stay at Ao Nang? Look no further than Mr. Chang's Home Stay with a very relaxed host.

Yes, the beach is a 15-20 min walk down the main road but it might actually be a good thing as you get to see all the different shops opening their doors in the evening.

The rooms are nicely decorated, absolutely clean and the bed is comfy. There is no noise in the evening / at night.

Mr. Chang was happy to give tips for trips to make and organize everything for us, managing to get a solid discount on every trip we ended up going to.

Highly recommended!

The room and host were excellent, especially given the value for money. The only downside is that the walls are very thin and if other guests are having a chat next door or outside on the terrace, it can disturb your sleep unless you are a very sound sleeper. Also, people smoking outside will carry the smoke into your room but there's nothing you can do about that really. Very cute and friendly dog + 2 cats!

The room was designed to be thai style which make you feeling comfortable and relax. The owner of the hotel was a nice ***. You can play with dog and cat.About the location, although it was a bit far away from the beach (almost 20-30min walking distance), the hotel was near 7-11, motorbike renting agent, a quite famous massage spa centre, a famous local restaurant. However, there is no private car parking site. We need to park the car beside the road in front of the hotel. Also, as the hotel was located near the street, there would be some noise in the morning from outside which could wake you up.

Very happy with our stay here! Mr. Chang was very friendly and ridiculously helpful with booking our excursions while in Krabi. Also located by some lovely small restaurants that we were happy to frequent. I couldn't be happier with how comfortable and calm the guest home was. I would gladly stay again

Beautiful location, 20 minutes walking distance to the longtail boats and beach. The hotel is situated on a quiet little road, dotted with cute rental homes, and we liked that it was peaceful compared to the noisier main road. One of the best Thai restaurants in town, Ton Ma Yom, is right next door. The hotel is undergoing some renovation since new management just stepped in. We loved the manager, Tin, who helped us book cheap tours (low season, everything was half off!) and explain transportation in the area. We stayed in a double room, which was quite spacious.

Mr Chang's homestay is absolutely beautiful. Easy to get to the beach a short walk or a tuk tuk to avoid walking in the hot sun. You got everything you need here at a very good valued price. Please note that this is a home stay, so do not expect things to be like a larger resort or hotel with staff members available for your every need.

Ao Nang Homestay, is a delightful hidden gem and the best ""budget"" hotel we have stayed in so far in Thailand. The shower and bathroom facilities were all to a good standard. The owner, Mr. Chang is a friendly guy. What can I say it took me time to write a review but the location IDEAL.
