Paid 220B for a double room with fan and private bathroom. Cold water and medium cleanliness but large room, no noise at night and smiley staff. No signs of bed bugs (room 41). Pretty happy with the overall experience for the price.

Paid 220 baht for a fan room. First room showed signs of bed bugs hence we requested for a change. Second one was okay. The attached bathroom was moldy and there was only cold showers available. Room smelled kinda funky as the bathroom was open top. Can't really complain much as it was cheap, on the plus side the room was spacious.

I awarded 4stars as this is the ideal place for my needs. Somewhere to park my bag and go straight back out. It would be classed as 1 star possibly 2 on official lists but I am reflecting on my review. Basic everything in an old style hotel. Great location with the Roma hotel across the road offering all your needs including live music. Not for the demanding tratveler but more in line with a backpackers ideal hostel. Cheapest in Khon Kaen

Very cheap Hotel, with very gentle staff
Very surprised that counter speak super good English in a land with bad educations.
Rooms are after my visit in 1999 are the same cheap price / I suggest update the prizes to minimum 250/300
No luxury, but a sleep with my eyes closed. / clean rooms.
For sure I come next time back.

You get what you pay for. Place is clean but the rooms are really basic. Don't expect the staff to speak English. Can't complain much at 220 with fan and private bathroom. Wouldn't stay there for any more though.

This place was recommended as a cheap hostel. Which it was, the best deal we could find so far I issan. But the place is quite dirty and shows signs of bed bugs. However the staff can speak English moderately well and are very helpful and professional.
