Large clean rooms with extra pillows and even a wash cloth in the bath--a first after 2 months in Thailand. This place is not functioning as a resort. The restaurant is only open 3 hours for breakfast. No room service. No drinks by the pool which was filled with bugs. There are no nearby restaurants to walk to. This appears to be a conference center now with business folk as the focus. We saw no other tourists. It was fine for an overnight near the airport. Glad to have the airport shuttle. Beautiful grounds to walk around on which are well maintained. Beautiful old wood trimmed buildings. We loved the room which had very good a/c.

First, the staff are kind, considerate, and accommodating. Management couldn’t ask for better employees!

The grounds are beautiful, artfully designed. We enjoyed a stroll around the grounds. The grounds, however, are rife with killer mosquitoes that attacked me hard before I could put some spray on.

Yes, the room was dated; but I enjoyed the old-style, which was big, comfortable, and had excellent daylight lighting.

The linens were clean, crisp, and inviting. This hotel provided extra pillows!! Yay! The only thing I thought could be done better, is a good scrubbing of the shower. It was not very clean, had some dark (mold? Dirt?) growing in the corner, and did not feel clean on my feet. That is an easy fix.

????The only real complaint I had is the mattress. I imagine they might be the original mattresses from when this place opened. Imagine trying to sleep with a bad back and neck on a mattress where you can feel the metal through the top layer! This alone is the reason for only three stars. I may have given 4 stars otherwise. I found the room charming, and very clean other than the shower. Thank you to the staff!!

Very quiet and relaxing hotel. The location is good if you just need something close to the airport but it doesn't have much else around it so be prepared to get taxis into town. Staff very attentive. Having said that we found most people in this area of Thailand really nice.

The furnitures and floor were made of teak and the room decor was simple with a Lanna touch. Carpeting in hallways of hotel in need of replacement. The hotel's location is very convenient as you can walk almost anywhere. Their service is great. Good food abounds at the morning breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

The treaments were decently priced and they did have Jurlique facials which were obviously more pricey. I was bored completely by the breakfast. Its so relaxing here and we loved the rooms. The staff were attentive. We enjoyed our stay here as part of the Soot Sanuk 6day Thailand Tour.

A very peaceful oasis amongst busy touring around Chang Rai. Location of the hotel very good. The breakfast buffet was adequate with mostly asian food. There is a swimming pool that I would've used if it was cleaner. There was a lot of banging outside my door throughout the night.

The staff are amazing especially the guy who does all the driving around. The Chiang Rai night market is probably my favorite in all of Thailand and the hotel front desk set us up with a car and it was all very easy. All those things made sure that we were happy to leave this place behind.
