200th fee par person, for only 2 houses to visit (one exhibition on the teck wood work, and one on différents objects of Lanna). The place is like abandoned except this 2 houses. But it's around a lake, and had a lot of shade. If you are just near the place, you can come, but else no need to specially come.

Although the people might mistaken this place with Doi Tung, they are all under the project and patronage of Mae Fah Luang, the art and cultural park is in Chiang Rai City, a bit out of skirts.

If you want to have a pure "thainess" experience, this is the place. Secluded location, the trees and careful crafted gardens, takes you to the heart of this unique Thai country that we love.

When you start driving inside the park, seems to be "another park", "another view", another lake, but no... there are two beautiful hall-pavilions, large, one with a permanent gallery and changing exhibitions and another one, with lanna kingdom memorabilia.

Last but not least, you will find a lot of unique spots to take beautiful photos and very detailed information provided by the carers and well trained staff that will provide you with all information needed.

It is a quiet place, slow motion, to enjoy and walk around.
Need to spend, if you like art and nature, a couple of hours to visit.

Located kind of on the middle of nowhere, these set of buildings with attached lake and gardens are quite large and pretty. Note that it's best not to go when it's raining heavily or at least bring an umbrella to move between the main buildings. Only one location does not allow photos inside. 200 baht entry

Very nice place. Two entrances closed. Finally one local guy came on motor bike to help is to show the entrance. Bit overpriced with 200 Baht entry fee. However gardens are good, staff is nice, some old culture. 200 years old Buddha images made from teak wood. Everything here made in teak. Don’t be in hurry. Bring your food spend time with nature.

The teak wood buildings are amazing, and perfect gardening well maintained. Very few visitors, totally peaceful, almost a private park for us. And we have a naughty accompany!

Stopped by in the afternoon and we were almost certainly the only visitors. What a shame. We had a delightful visit. Lots to see in the park. Museum was interesting too. Highly recommend.

The 200 baht entry fee seemed a bit steep initially, but the teak buildings and artworks were incredible and well worth seeing. We didn't think the park itself was that nice, but mainly because we visited in April when everything's very dry and brown.
