Mercy hostel is very nice and clean. I absolutely loved my bed which was a great size and comfortable sheets with privacy in the dorms. They rent towels for 30 baht and do not provide lock for the lockers. I arrived late at night, so getting there was a bit scary down the Alley but a short 10 minute walking distance into downtown and bus station. You can also rent a scooter for 200/250 baht per day. They have great amenities like a ping pong table, swimming pool. gym, living room for games, and TV. Other than the location, I enjoyed my stay. Would recommend!

Loved this place, one of the best hostels I have stayed in. It was rather small, but conveniently located and very clean. The little pool was refreshing, the bathrooms were satisfactory, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a gym and game room as well. The dorms were excellent! Great beds. Everything I look for in a hostel. Only thing I would add/change if I owned the place would be a small library and free towels for guests to use (30 baht fee for one).

Nice hostel. We rent their double bed room for 2 nights and it was perfect. Room condition, cleanliness, accommodations, complimentaries and services was like 4 star hotel, including 2 pillows/guest and 2 closets

Staffs are informative and very helpful. Pool table looks cool but it's in front of our room and cause a bit of noise in the morning. They also offer services like rental motorcycle and baggage storage.

ps. to hostel...your aquarium need a lot more biological filter media and some more fishes, Carp family are quite social animal, they'll be more happy with 5-6 friends.

Nice and clean hostel. Walking distance to Clock Tower, night markets and good food options. Available washing machines are a great benefit. Unfortunately walls seem to be pretty thin and we could hear neighbours, though everyone in the halls kept quite after 10pm.

Best hostel I have stayed in!! The staff were so friendly and always helpful as! They have a pool a gym and a chill out tv room with movie channels and Every thing and AC in there too. The rooms were so nice and cold and the beds were huge! Location was perfect! I stayed for 2 weeks in a female dorm, could easily stayed a month I loved Chiang Rai.

This is hands down one of the best hostiles I've stayed at in Thailand. The grounds are great for relaxing with a pool, fast wifi, gym, game room, free tea and coffee, plus spacious indoor and outdoor common areas. Everything stays impeccably clean and the staff is super nice. The beds are soft with curtains in the dorms for privacy. There is a strict quiet rule after 1030 PM in the main building, but the game room is still open. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Great little hostel in a great location. Just outside the hustle and bustle which makes for an easy walk into town but also a quiet space to chill.

We stayed in a private room and it was awesome. Better than at least half of the hotels and motels I've stayed in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The gym was also handy, always good to get a sweat in on holiday.

Would definitely recommend mercy.
