Lovely place to stay. Facilities are basic with an outdoor toilet and shower. Most importantly they were clean. The hosts are congenial and friendly. Although not too far from the city centre it is still a very quiet neighbourhood. Be prepared for the dawn chorus of roosters though in the morning.

It's a great place both to stay and to eat. Run by a lovely family, Banban is a traditional wood house with authentic beauty. There are both Northern Thai and Western food, to be served in an ethereal garden with furnishing all made by the host. Love it!

Lovely place, small, cosy, great hosts, off the main street, but with everything within walking distance, also best breakfast we had in Thailand

This place was wonderful. The family is very nice and can help you book onward travel. The best breakfast we've had in all of Asia, I think. Nice traditional wooden Thai house, beautiful garden.

Amazing vibe u0026 atmosphere... truly a wonderful and peaceful place. If we could ,we would stay a lot longer. Thank you Bear u0026 Family for hosting us, GREAT food, GREAT drinks and an overall 5star experience.

I walked into the place at 9 PM in the evening and it was raining. It's more of an outside restaurant and there was no dry place to sit, but the couple was very nice and let me sit in the house and cooked a nice meal for me. Very kind people. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
