Highly recommend Varada Place, it's one fo the best in Chiang Mai for that price! It's very clean and room has all the equipment inside. Owner is very kind and helpful, I can say that from my experience... there is a lobby down and she has very lovely cats to cheer you up ????

Clean and friendly place. Location is very convenient, close to the Old city, supermarkets and cafes. There are washing machines and a parking near the hotel. You will find free tea, coffee and drinking water on reception. There is microwave oven, freezer and a tiny balcony in the standard room that could be very helpful if you wash your clothes. The street where the hotel is located can be quite busy, especially on weekends, but the windows are so good that you would hardly hear any noise. Bathroom is good equipped and has everything you might need: shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer. Linen and towels are being changed every day. Bee, the host, is very lovely and helpful. As well as the rest of the team (unfortunately, don't know all the names...). You can book variety excursions right in the hotel. Pleasant bonus: seven cats live here :) Those, who are not cat-lovers, don't worry: cats are well-mannered and live mainly near the reception.

Place was not bad. Even had access to printer and computer. 3 wifi to choose from. Careful when using the key it might break.

Very clean, comfortable, convenient and with friendly staff!

We really enjoyed our stay at Varada Place. The owner and the staff is very friendly and helpful here! After traveling southeast Asia for more than 2 years, we can say that the room we had was one of the cleanest ever - especially for this price level.

The location is very central and convenient. It is between the popular Nimman area and the old City, so you can reach both within a few minutes.

All in all, very great value for an affordable price! We would stay here again and we would recommend it 100%.

Decent room for the price. The staffs are very helpful, and so are the cats. The tour advisers are honest and made very good recommendations. Perfect for new travelers. One downside: if your room is on the fourth floor, there is no elevator. But it gives you exercise.

Great room. TV micro wave fridge all included. Very clean
Comfy bed. Convenient between Maya shopping centre with awesome cinema and gym , and old town. And airport not far. Great espresso coffee machine and water free. Nicest room yet on my trip and great price.

Very friendly staff. Great customer service. Our room was private, with all the basics you need: air conditioner, microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV with cable TV, fast speed internet, our own private spacious bathroom. The shower has its own division with curtains and you have a balcony where you can hang some of your clothing. Laundry can be done downstairs. You will need some change since it only takes $10 Baht coins. It is 20-30 baht for the washer and minimum 30 baht for the dryer per load. The hotel has a coffee machine and hot tea available all the time and they clean your room daily if you requested it( shampoo, shower and toiletries included). It also has a kitchen like space on the first floor with silverware, glasses and plates. You cannot cook, there is no stove, but you can eat there if you order to go meals. Overall great hotel for the budget and very close to Niemann and the old City. There are two malls( Maya Mall and Central Kad Suan Kaew) walking distance where you can go shopping, do groceries or grab a bite to eat.
