Brilliant temple!! Some weekends there seemed to be a market where locals would go and shop for all sorts, fruits, second hand clothes and food!!

The monastery playing tradional music with kids singing and buddhist kids and monks sweeping the grounds!!

A must see visit if you are ever nearby!!

Beautiful adornments at the front gates, and the temple offers their space every Saturday and Monday (from late afternoon to evening) for local vendors to set up a market. This place is hopping every day, with street stalls and local businesses. At busy hours, be very focused on the road as a driver or walker, because motorbikes and cars and other people will be turning on and off the road everywhere!

Super interesting temple off the main tourist trail. Although small it packs an interesting history and beautiful architecture. There is a collection of places to eat and drink near the temple, and two local markets that are popular with locals for food and locally made items. Worth a visit to the temple, nearby coffee house and then the market which can easily make up a good Saturday afternoon and evening exploration.

Temple that is bit far away from chiang mai but if you have time, you can come here, visit the village and vidit this temple and wat umong
