My most recent trip to Chiang Mai can only be described as magical and blissful and I have Vdara resort to thank for. My ideal place to stay was somewhere tranquil without the noise and stress of being too close to the city. It was so relaxing staying here. And the room was gigantic!

The service staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast upstairs was great and delicious and allowed me to start the day in a good mood.

Even though it was nice and quiet, Vdara was still close enough to the main city area that I didn't feel inconvenient whatsoever. Getting a taxi or Grab was extremely easy and quick.

I would definitely stay here again my next trip back to Chiang Mai.

The hotel is clean, nice pool and spa but the taxi driver had never heard of it and I knew That wasn’t good. Booked on expedia, there is no free airport shuttle as stated. They require $1,000 bot cash deposit upon arrival. Refused to serve food in or let me bring from their restaurant to the room. Very very limited food and menu in thai and chinese. Not convenient location on foot for anything. Noisy dogs nearby all night. I lived In SE Asia for years - the price $82usd is crazy for this place. $30 is more like it. Won’t be going back or suggesting to others.

Personally for me the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Wonderful people and I would highly recommend this place.

I’m giving this place a 5 star because of their spa. It’s so professional and truly welcoming. Great prices and excellent massages ????????
