I’ve stayed in a ton of hostels, and there are certain that stand in a league of their own. Stamps is one of those.

It excels at the basics. Clean throughout, proper amenities, safe, and comfy common area to mingle. Beyond the basics, Stamps fosters a social atmosphere that I don’t think any other hostel in Chiang Mai can replicate.

Also, the staff is awesome! I managed to grab food with two of them during my stay here, and it was a great experience! Shout out to Ploy and Sky. I also had the chance to chat with the owner of Stamps over a beer! Hearing his story and experience founding a hostel was fascinating.

If you’re in the mood to meet people, it’s super easy here. Yet, if your social batteries are running low, good news; the hostel is quiet after 10 pm, there’s a quite common area alongside the louder social one, and the beds are semi-private (which is quite unique!)

Overall, this is THE place to be in Chiang Mai. Book right away; it fills up fast for a reason.

Great hostel! Everything is really clean and comfortable. The best thing is the staff, they are so friendly and organize activities everyday. You can ask them to book some activities like trekking, cooking lessons, go to see elephants... Special thanks to LP, she was so kind to us and helped to organize our days in Chiang Mai. She also joined us to the trekking and was an amazing day. I highly recommend this place.

Stamps is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. It’s in a fantastic location, it’s clean, has good showers and the dorms provide more privacy than any other hostel. The best thing about stamps is the atmosphere. It’s an amazing place to meet people and the quiz night is so much fun.

The staff are also amazing. They’re so helpful and friendly. Big thanks to Dong, Marc, Night and the owner Mike for creating such a wonderful experience for everyone who walks through the door.

You should definitely go to this hostel! Stamps Backpackers Hostel is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. This is due to its lovely personal, the great dorm rooms and the overall awesome atmosphere it offers. If you choose to join here for a night (or many nights), do yourself a favor and go talk to whoever is taking care of the bar and ask for a “black cock” shot - you’ll be in for a tasty shot and a great talk. Enjoy!

One of the best hostels out there! The sweet and inclusive staff, energetic social vibe, nightly events and clean accomodation made Stamps stand out on my travels. Karaoke nights were my favourite. One of the team members in particular named Ash was very charismatic and always made sure my friends and I had a great time! 10/10 would recommend if you are about in Chiang Mai ????

Best hostel I've stayed in Thailand! Friendly staff, great social vibe. They organize daily/nightly activities, recommend places to go and things to do when you need help. Beds are so comfy and everything is so clean! 100% recommend!

I stayed at this hostel while exploring Chiang Mai. This hostel has a very relaxed atmosphere with both very social guests and employees. In the 3 days I have stayed there, I had a very good time. I want to special thank Lucpat for the good care and fun interactions she is able to provide!
