Was excited to try this restaurant hoping for something great but did not really get what I expected. Taste was ok but many things perhaps already been prepared and just microwaved and served rather than made in the kitchen. It feels like visiting a fast food place. The cheese, condiments, no hot sauce served. Jalapeno pickles in a jar was not bad tho. Space is good, they have their own parking lot.

Mexican food near the old city. Excellent staff. Good Top Shelf Margarita pitchers. Nice outdoor atmosphere. Fish tacos, wet burrito and chicken nachos are my lunchtime favorites, however the chicken taco salad and chicken tacos are my absolute favorites.
Check out all the cool cacti. ????

This place was just as expected, clean, good service, and great Mexican food. I ordered chips with fresh pico de giao, chips were crisp and the pico was delicious. Next up 3 hard shell beef tacos, the shells stayed crisp, the beef was well seasoned, and the toppings were fresh. Then 1/2 rice 1/2 refried beans. I definitely didn't need these as I had plenty of food, but was glad I had them. The Mexican spice was good throughout all the food. Huge list of margaritas available.

Miguel’s is a solid choice for Mexican (Tex-Mex) food in Chiang Mai. The menu has all the favorites, and their margaritas are very good. They have both soft shell tacos and hard shell tacos as well (relatively rare in Chiang Mai). Miguel’s will not blow you away, but you will not be disappointed. As a follow-up.... I had a look at some of the negative reviews, and I can say that I have not experienced any of the reported problems in any of my dozen or so visits. Funny that some say food microwaved and delivered in 60 seconds, others say service slow and food took forever... so which is it? This is not going to be refined Mexican food, so people have to go in with that expectation. It's good, basic, Tex Mex and our service has always been good every time. The owner has clearly asked for more feedback on the 'mean' reviews, and I think he deserves honest answers. Miguel's has served the Chiang Mai community for a long time and survived COVID (so far), so please do not be put off by the several 1 star reviews (competitors?)

FANTASTIC!!! This Tex-Mex style Mexican restaurant is sooooo delicious! Every dish is fantastic. The portions are very large so you will leave completely satisfied. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good prices for how much you get. Highly recommend this restaurant in Chiang Mai. I’ll be going back all the time. Pictures include their Chicken Enchilada, Beef Taco Salad, Taquitos and Corn Tortilla Soup!

Miguel's has more of the slow cooked Mexican spice flavour than other CM Mexican restaurants. Huevos rancherosa good example :)

A bit better than all the chain Mexican restaurants about but not that amazing or special, enjoyed the meal but probably wouldn’t rush back. Waitress lovely bless but so busy with grab drivers was hard to get attention.
