This is one of the culinary treasures of Chiang Mai, especially famous for their northern-style laab and their pork curry. Remember to get sticky rice with your order.

We dined in the eatery and ordered spicy pork salad, pork curry n khao soi (chicken curry noodles) 3x steamed rice and a bottled water. All were delicious, flavoursome and not too spicy hot for my taste. Very reasonable in price about THB 60/dish and overall THB 226 for two of us.

Great spot for northern Thai food. The location is a little loud but the food is worth it if you’re interested in traditional foods in this region. I had the pork curry which was tasty, I love the spice and brown gravy it’s stewed in. Sticky rice is always an essential part of the meal so make sure you order some. There’s 8 traditional dishes to choose from, starting at 50 baht. #BeatTheGrind

Not as popular with tourists but it's a Chiangmai insider spot. The must orders are their laab khau (mince pork) and nam prik Ong (pork chilli dip). Fresh shakes are really good too

Came here for the spicy pork and curry pork. Not too spicy and delicious. Price is reasonable too.

Lunch here felt like eating at a friend's place. Everyone was friendly and casual. There was no menu, but we asked for a few things we'd read about in the reviews. The star was the slow-roasted curry that just fell apart with the touch of a spoon. (The laab was sooo spicy!) Definitely come here for authentic northern Thai food.

((It was also pretty inexpensive, considering we got three entrees and two orders of sticky rice.))

Fantastic little place serving a limited menu of authentic northern Thai food. The laab khua muu is to die for (assuming you can handle a little spice) and the name orik ong lends flavor without the spice.
