An interesting new branch of a franchise I like. Having been one of the first customers to use the first Samurai Kitchen in Chiang Mai, I was keen to try this new branch on the Lamphun Road, so this week I took a family of friends there for a meal.
The food was as good as at the Chiang Mai branch. It was pretty busy around 7 pm in the evening, and getting busier. Service was OK, but the staff here had little English language.
Plenty of chairs and tables, though they could not be called very comfortable. Easy parking outside.
A good selection of Japanese memorabilia gives it a similar style to the original. As each menu item is 59 baht, it's a great opportunity to try various Japanese dishes.
I would return, but will still prefer the original as it's in Chiang Mai and involves little travelling for me.
