This place is awesome. Simply the best Lanna (Northern) cuisine you will find in Chiang Mai by far. We came here at random when we drove by one night and ordered the Chiang Mai Sausage and chicken wings. Man oh man, the chicken wings were cooked to perfection and drizzled with some divine, slightly sweet and salty sauce (maybe some honey?). The Chiang Mai sausage was grilled and then lightly sautéed in a galangal and chili paste, far and away the #1 CM sausage I have had.

We have since been back countless times and I highly recommend the steamed beef with galangal dipping sauce as well as the tamarind leaf stir-fry when its in season. The staff and owners are super friendly and attentive, one of the staff is honestly so good you would expect them to be serving in the Le Meridian or something.

There are also a lot of special curry's, soups and other delights that I have never seen in another restaurant. Oh yeah, the prices are amazing as well and the place its self is nicely set up and welcoming. This place is a must eat in Chiang Mai!

I loved the food there! The place, at first sight made me thought I wasn’t at the right 4.7stars place, but that deserve a 5 stars for Mike who is really lovely and happy to share his cuisine. Meat lovers will love the BBQ, vegans have a choice of bamboo and greens which made my day! Thanks

Delicious local food, Reasonably priced
Our party of 8 people all wanted to come back to this spot 4 times. If I lived here I would be a regular customer.

short menu....good food. They do have a very good variety of import beer. It could be much better if they had more menu items. The atmosphere was nice for being along side the road and even made me forget that it was next to the road. Very easy to be 4stars if they get more menu items.

Great friendly local owner. They do a range of northern and isaan foods that aren't easy to find elsewhere.
The owner even plays guitar for you if your lucky!
Generally play blues and soft rock music, 70s 80s and Thai.
