Nice old wall with neat flower arrangement on the south side. It's on the south side of the city in the middle of the moat. It's best to view it from the south side as then you can see the flower beds and trimmed trees in animal shapes

One of the 5 remaining historical ruine gate. Sad it was not preserve earlier. The rest of the gate wall had been colaspe long ago.

The old mote of the Chiang mai old city. Night view is awesome.This gate located on the southern wall of the city.It was also called Suan Pung gate.The gate was reconstructed in the years around 1800 but was completed between 1966-1969.

this is fifth gate which was constructed later than other four gates. history said it was used by the wife of king saen muang ma whose palace was outside the city (chedi luang supervisor). as other gates through the wall, hard to access or pass by.

The Southern gate where the Saturday Night Market will be held. Just a passing historical site when you visit the market on Saturday night or when you going to Nong Buak Hard Public Park.

Beautiful and quiet gate but I hope the authorities will do something about pedestrians road crossing lights as it is pretty dangerous crossing the road from one side to the other side especially when almost one out of 5 bikers or Tuk Tuk drivers are driving in a wrong way of the road just to make it faster to get to their destination.
