Seems like I was the only person that didn't enjoy staying here, so it might just be me. But the room I stayed in was incredibly dirty and messy, people had just dumped their stuff everywhere and left empty food packets / bottles all over the place. This meant there was no space to store my bags apart from in the bed with me and only a tiny locker just big enough for my passport belt and wallet. There was also no quiet space anywhere as they were playing music downstairs all the time, which was a shame as I wanted to video call family back home in the evening. That being said, the location is good and the owners are incredibly friendly, even remembering my name. It's also very cheap to stay here, so I guess you get what you pay for. Definitely more of a party backpackers place, so if you want to meet lots of people to go out with this place could be good. Just not really my scene.

Noi and everybody else from the hostel is so welcoming and warm. They hugged me every time we came back from 2day trips. They were so sweet to make fresh coffee (even grind the beans), provide amazing fruit every day and were just so happy all the time!
Good location, great staff. Great rooms with aircon (sometimes too cold though). Recommend this hostel in Chiang Mai!!

Right so the people here are actually super nice. Ended up staying here for like 8 days in Chiang Mai and they would always keep a bed open for us just in case we wanted to stay another night. Each night they were full so no trouble meeting people, pool table is fun and there's a roof to chill on. Good location, close to north gate where there's lots of street restaurants in the evening.

Such a nice place. Very friendly people who try their best to help you with any questions and problems you might have. It's clean and and comfortable. Good place to stay!

Loveliest hostel in Chiang Mai for suure! The girls working there remember your names from the first minute and will make you feel like you’re coming home. Even after spending a week in Pai I arrived back in Chiang Mai and they still knew my name and greeted me with a hug.
Can’t put it differently but it’s like having a mum who’s always helping and trying the best, giving great advice on what to do and where to eat. All in all my favourite hostel while traveling Thailand so far!!

The atmosphere at this place is so fun, warm, and welcoming. The host P’Noi is the absolute best. The beds in the dorms are smartly organized with a barrier shielding you from the next bed to keep the noise down.

one of the if not the best hostel in chiang mai! we kept extending our stay because its such a fun place. The facilities are great, staf is very helpful and friendly and its located in a good spot. I would definitely recommend monkey toe!
