Beautifully landscaped setting, incredible architecture, quiet location, friendly and attentive staff, and delicious north Thai food - what more could anyone ask for?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unusual resort and wish we could have stayed longer!

For a laid back vacation at Chiang Mai- you can do worse than book a room at Khum Phaya resort. Conveniently located in the middle of city but you could be forgiven for forgetting that while inside. There are of course the usual banes of being in very natural settings: mozzies and insects. So you have to learn to deal with them with sprays and beautiful traditional mosquito nets. Very traditional resort setting so those looking for high rise swankness would do best to avoid. Rooms are clean and spacious and tastefully decorated.

Not in the center of town but still a great location. Lots of good shopping in the area. Have a courtesy van into the centre which we used to go to Wua Lai night markets. All hotel staff are lovely.

A nice quit relaxing place to stay with a very accommodating staff. Very convenient to the major retailers on the north side of town such as Central, Bic C, Decathlon etc. Good food and not overly expensive.

Really lovely Thai decor, comfy rooms, relaxing spa and courteous staff. Was very quiet whilst we were there and thus lacked some atmosphere.

I’m thinking of taking my foreign friends to stay at this hotel. However, me and my friends have seen a documentary exposing the egg industry that traps hens in cages with very little space, and it made us very disturbed. That’s why I wanted to ask if Centara has a policy to not buy eggs from farms that use cages? Please give me an answer that assures me.

My wife and I have just stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed every bit. The grounds are beautiful and looked after every day, all staff were very friendly and happy. We had breakfast included which tasted good and had a decent range. We caught the free shuttle bus at 2pm most afternoons and the driver was fantastic, gave us lots of local information and because we were by ourselves on most runs he would take us all the way into the old city. We would not hesitate to book again.
