Cute place in a neighborhood with lots of street food, and within a 10 minute walk to the Sunday night market. Staff were extremely friendly and you get a 10% discount with them if you book tours through them. There's also a really cute stand across the street in the morning that serves delicious Thai tea and coffee for only 25 bahts (I would recommend getting less sugar tho). Only complaints I had were that there never seemed to be enough hot water for an actual hot shower and holes in the ceiling. But all of that was for an extremely good price. 50 dollars Canadian per night for a large 4 person suite.

One less star only because the rooms are not as new as the photos suggest, which means the curtains are a little run down and the bed/pillows not as comfortable. Location is good, service is good and the patrons are decent. It is value for money and you'll find a lot of options for activities at the front desk (though it is quite possible to find better deals online). I booked through Airbnb, but I later realised that other platforms may be offering a better rate.

We were overcharged when we arrived as they refused to give us the price we'd agreed upon over the phone. Dirty bathroom with mould growing on the walls, very unhelpful and unfriendly staff who don't seem to enjoy their jobs. The bed takes up the entire room so there really no space to move. There are much nicer places to stay in Chiang Mai for the same price.

Have stayed for like 2 weeks in a private room. Great location, everything is in a walking distance. Room is being cleaned every day and plus you get 2 bottles of water. You can also get breakfast, get taxi, tours, laundry, motorbikes and etc. I have also had a TV with like 20 channels (Thai and English mostly) which is nice to follow up with some news. Overall it's been a nice stay with a very friendly staff! :)

I really enjoyed staying at Kamala’s guesthouse. It was well-located but still quiet with some great cafes nearby.The rooms were comfortable, moderately priced and attractive. In addition, I found the staff lovely and helpful. It was a great refuge from the heat and busyness of downtown Chiangmai. Finally, it also features ancient stupa (Chedi) on its doorstep.

I didn't stay here. I came here to check out the happy hour, 20% off all beer wines and cocktails between 5 and 7pm. A large Chang which should have been 85 was 68 baht. Quite cheap. There's free WiFi.

The perfect place to stay. Super comfortable stay, great friendly staff, can walk to everything in old town. And has a great little coffe and pork bun stand that opens in morning...no complaints just happy experiences with Kamala's guest house.
