This place is amazing and one of my favorite places in Chiang Mai. Healthy food, super inexpensive, and they even give a free meal if you can't afford the few baht for a plate.
PRO TIP: This place closes some times so the staff can do a Buddhist retreat. Find out before hand by checking them on Facebook. Search for "0baht", or check the instructions in one of my pictures.
Also you get the best selection if you arrive before noon, as they start to wind down after that time to make sure they don't have too many left overs. A benefit of as it gets later they usually have free items.
They have fresh fruit and veg smoothie and healthy teas. Rice and several simple Thai dishes such as curries or other healthy vegetable sets. Often they have soups and a sweet coconut based dessert. They usually have cooked beans which is a huge plus, as you don't want to only eat soy for protein!
There's so many other things to say about here which many have covered. It's not the most luxurious, but the community, mission and food are superb. Check it out at least once!
