It's a real working Thai market - welcoming to tourists, but it's for the locals. Winding paths, fresh produce, fresh fish. No live animals, but definitely some dead ones! Great place to practice your market Thai. Solid meals near the front (canal side). At night the market is closed, but outside there are hot foods u0026 treats.

One of the must-see and visit things in Chiang Mai if you are here on any given afternoon or evening. You will enjoy your ride your foods, floating articles and accessories and many many more things. The atmosphere of the market is just great

Awesome place with a chilled atmosphere. Most of the vendors spoke some English so issues here if you don't speak Thai. Lots of norther Thai food options at street food pricing.

Lots of locals. Fresh veggies and cheap but delicious drinks. Small ancillary shops all around. I enjoy shopping where the locals shop.

The night market in Chiang Mai is an amazing place to eat. There are so many delicious food options and interesting shops to explore. The atmosphere is electric and the people are friendly. I had a great time exploring the night market and would definitely recommend it to others!

My favorite evening food market in Chiang Mai. Every night of the week, dozens of food carts are here dishing up a dizzying variety of delicious food. Want seafood curries, northern Thai sausages, and stir fried noodles? It's all here. In the mood for fresh fruit shakes, fried Thai doughnuts, or grilled pork? There's a cart for those too! KFG and Pa Fruit Shake are particularly worth a visit, but you really can't go wrong as almost all the carts are an institution and have been here serving amazing food to locals and tourists for years! A lot of carts have tables and plastic chairs behind them to sit and enjoy the deliciousness.
