Good location and nice lobby. I slept in a Mixed Dorm. For the upper beds, the capsules are terribly designed. Amongst the worst. Ladders are near impossible to climb- they really dig into your feet. It’s genuinely preferable to jump out. As regards toilets- there are sinks on every floor, but no soap/hand wash. So you have to go to the shower to get some shower gel.

We booked a place for 2 nights. They had mold in the bathroom and in the AC. We asked if it can be cleaned and they said no due to Chinese New Year celebrations. We asked for a different room and they said they are all booked. After saying we can’t stay there because of high mold sensitivity, we were offered a different room with mold in the bathroom and in the AC as well. We had to look for a new place. They gave us money back only for 1 day. We stayed at different place, much cleaner and cheaper. Do not recommend

Really nice room. Big let down is housekeeping. Bathroom was not clean when checking in and after.feedback was given still nothing was done. Daytime house keeping seems to only be making up beds and fresh towels. Glasses in room were not replaced with clean ones. Nice but some key areas to be improved.

comfortable and generally clean. nicely decorated and friendly staff.
bathroom is always too wet because the shower room is not separated. it was required to take off shoes as most other thai hostels, but not dustless inside so quite nasty to step on a shared mat in front of your dorm.

Nice and cheap in a great location close to old town. I spent one night here with my partner in a double bed shared dorm with approximately 8 other double beds. Felt reasonably private considering how many beds were in the room.

This place advertises a pool, technically this is true;

BUT

Its 2min walk at another “Arch39” hostel through the back, under cover, in a carpark and is approx 5m x 3m in size. We walked over looking forward to relax and turned back immediately when we saw. Unless you’d like to sit on a car bonnet I’d reccomend not booking here for the pool.

It's quite a funky hostel, with modern furnishings and we had lots of quiet nights in the cool dorm pods. Staff are friendly and it's a nice place to come back to, reasonable walking distance to most things.

Somehow most of our stay was just my friend and I in our dorm room. So it wasn't the most social experience. There's a bonus breakfast (bread, fruit) and the tables in the common room were handy for trip planning. Wi-Fi was very good and the bathrooms were always clean and mostly supplied.

My only issue was with housekeeping who did some weird things, e.g. being on speakerphone whilst in the rooms in the morning.

stayed in room with private bathroom. mini bar had toast and some snacks for free! beds were quite comfy but the ladder/plastic rocks to get up to the top bunks seemed more for presentation than practicality. climbing up to go to bed was uncomfortable. otherwise the rooms were comfortable and a/c worked well
