A vast complex of older buildings many of which are empty with a mish mash of shops offering clothes, fresh produce, eateries and gold shops. A recent addition is a sprawling pub at the main approach from Thani Road which looks promising. This market has the potential to be great but maybe it was great at one time in the past.

The main market building was shut down, has moved to somewhere else and waiting to be demolished, or what? I don't speak Thai, so I couldn't ask locals. Nothing's seemed to be changed since last posts 2 years ago. east side of the building , there are 4-5 wok stalls, but no curry over the rice stalls. The rest of the surrounding, there are clothes stores. Unless there are no such places until you get here, there's no reason to come.

Clothing shops and some food stalls. The market inside the big building is actually closed.
I reccomend you to visit the French bar besides the market.
